Monica Fairview is well known in the Jane Austen fan fiction circle as the author of numerous Pride and Prejudice variations ( Mr Darcy Seeks a Wife series, Mysterious Mr. Darcy , Fortune & Felicity and A Longbourn Entanglement ) and sequels ( The Other Mr. Darcy and The Darcy Cousins ). In between she tried her hand at writing a steampunk standalone novel ( Steampunk Darcy ) and last year's gaslamp fantasy release, Dangerous Magic . She has continued to pen its sequel called Threads of Magic and together they are part of the Mr. Darcy's Magic series. There are plans to publish more books so do anticipate their arrival. There are hundreds if not thousands of published Austenesque literature that mainly focuses on Pride and Prejudice . Although it is advantageous and lucrative to concentrate on writing stories based on Jane Austen's most popular masterpiece, some authors do dabble in her other five novels.
