Austenesque Book Giveaways for 24 February-2 March 2014

Love at First Slight Blog Tour: Excerpt and Giveaway

It is a pleasure to discover more Austenesque literature written by the myriad and talented authors in the Jane Austen community. I especially love one that is uniquely written and different from the rest even though it originate from the same familiar tale. With this in mind, I learnt that J. The Sum of All Kisses: Book Review

Rating: ★★★★★/★★★★★ The Sum of All Kisses is the third book in romance writer Julia Quinn's The Smythe-Smith Quartet . From the first ( Just Like Heaven ) and second novels ( A Night Like This ), readers learn of the consequences of the infamous duel between Daniel Smythe-Smith, the Earl of Winstead and Lord Hugh Prentice and how it has affected both families. Hugh, the second son of the Marquess of Ramsgate, is severely wounded on the left leg which leaves his father furious and vows to hunt down and kill his opponent. As a result, Daniel had to flee England and did not return until three years later when Hugh managed to stop his father from pursuing his good friend. How did he made it happen? We are now privy to the unfortunate incident as told from Hugh's point of view. The novel is primarily a love story focusing on Lord Hugh Prentice and Lady Sarah Pleinsworth.
