Since then the retired lawyer and lecturer has stayed quiet until recently when her new publisher Quills & Quartos launched Lovers' Meeting . It is a Pride and Prejudice what-if that differs from Jane Austen's classic much earlier. In fact Elizabeth Bennet did not initially meet Fitzwilliam Darcy at the Meryton assembly so her prejudice against him was removed.
