After a two-year hiatus, Jane Austen Variations member Monica Fairview is back with the publication of a new Pride and Prejudice variation towards the end of last month. In Fortune & Felicity , Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet did not have the opportunity to put things right after the disastrous proposal at Hunsford. Much has changed in the seven years since they last saw each other. For starters they married someone else and their spouses are dead leaving both of them widowed. Darcy seem to fair much better with a young daughter who is in need for a governess.
