Austenesque Book Giveaways for 10-16 February 2014

The Austenesque scout would like to highlight the following Austen-themed giveaways posted this week which will sure to delight her readers.

Candy Morton of So little time... has written a review of Ginger Monette's Tree of Life on her blog. Read her thoughts on this inspirational romance of Charlotte and Colonel Fitzwilliam with a side story of Anne de Bourgh. If it piqued your interest, enter the contest to win a copy of the novel offered by the author by filling in the Rafflecopter form. Only one winner will be chosen when the giveaway ends next Tuesday, 18 February 2014. Take note that a paperback copy is reserved for the US while a Kindle edition is gifted to the worldwide winner.

A review of A Fitzwilliam Legacy: Seasonal Disorder has been posted on Indie Jane. Find out what reviewer Patty Marq has to say on Tess Quinn's Christmas-themed novel and then fill up the Rafflecopter form for the chance to receive a free copy of the book. Tess has kindly provided a paperback copy and an e-book version to two international winners. The deadline to submit your entries is on Monday, 17 February 2014.

Maria Grace is celebrating the audiobook release of All the Appearance of Goodness by hosting a competition on her blog. She is giving the opportunity for readers to win two audiobook downloads of Darcy's Decision. So leave a comment on her post before it is over at midnight on Sunday, 16 February 2014.

Head over to Austensque Reviews to read Meredith Esparza's review of The Naturalist by Christina Dudley. Then leave a comment there to win a copy of the novel. The US winner has a choice to get the paperback or e-book edition but it will e-book only if the international reader wins the contest which closes next Monday, 17 February 2014.

Come and read author Jan Hahn's interview with Janet Taylor on More Agreeably Engaged where she talks about her upcoming release, The Secret Betrothal. An e-book and a paperback copy of The Secret Betrothal are up for grabs so comment on the post to be entered. This giveaway is open worldwide until midnight on Monday, 17 February 2014.

Read what she thinks of Suzan Lauder's debut novel and leave a comment because a paperback copy of Alias Thomas Bennet is offered by her publisher. I think you should check it out as it is a relatively new concept that has not been fully explored on any Jane Austen's novels. Wasylowski's Darcy and Fitzwilliam which was reviewed several months ago, I was a little wary of reading any Austen-themed novels which caught my fancy because of its beautifully designed covers. After my colleague recommend me to try Maria Hamilton's debut novel, I made up my mind to read it next. It proved to be a wise choice for I spend many hours perusing this delightful Pride and Prejudice what-if story. Mr. Darcy and the Secret of Becoming a Gentleman begins after Fitzwilliam Darcy's disastrous marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet in Hunsford Parsonage, Kent. After thinking over her reasons for refusing him, Darcy decides to take her reproves to heart and tries to correct the mistakes that he committed in his past although unintentional done.
