A Promise of Forever Giveaways for January 2022

The new year has commence and it looks promising judging by the new and upcoming Austenesque releases for this month. First up is Christine Combe's A Promise of Forever which was published about eleven days ago. It is a Pride and Prejudice what-if novel that takes readers on an emotional roller coaster ride with our beloved pairing of Darcy and Elizabeth.

The plot is quite a departure from canon whereby she is not a Bennet but the daughter of the Gardiners, a family of tradesman who reside in Lambton. Fitzwilliam is a young man who just return home to Pemberley after a lengthy tour of Europe. They met, fell in love and elope but family objections soon find a way to tear them apart. How will our dear couple reconcile and stay together after separating for four years?
