Much Ado in Meryton Giveaways for January 2022

After successfully publishing three mystery-themed stories in Miss Mary Investigates series (The Mystery of the Missing Heiress, Death of a Clergyman and Death in Highbury), Riana Everly has returned to her roots which is mashing up Jane Austen's most popular masterpiece with an equally famous play. Her debut novel, Teaching Eliza is a George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion set in the world of Pride and Prejudice. This time around she has combined the themes from Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare and the plot of Pride and Prejudice again to create Much Ado in Meryton.

If you are familiar with the English playwright's comedic play, you will know that Benedick and Beatrice are engaged in a merry war of words until they are tricked to confess their love for the other. Likewise Darcy and Elizabeth take on their roles of bantering and trading barbs on each occasion. When Elizabeth has to live in Netherfield with Mr Darcy also staying as a guest, their continuous squabbles disturb the tranquility of the inhabitants. So their friends and family concoct a plan to put an end to their quarrel. Will the machination work or backfire against them?

Fans of Shakespeare, Jane Austen and Riana's books would not wish to miss the ongoing virtual tour.
