Shannon Winslow's sequel to her debut novel, The Darcys of Pemberley , has just been released this week. Return to Longbourn continues the tale of characters from Pride and Prejudice with the focus on Mary Bennet, the middle daughter of the Bennet family. After the untimely passing of Mr William Collins just before the start of The Darcys of Pemberley , the heir of Longbourn is now his brother Mr Tristan Collins who resides in America. At the death of Mr Bennet, Tristan sets out to claim his inheritance where he meets the two unmarried Bennet daughter, Mary and Kitty. Who will he choose as his wife? Just like her previous endeavour, Shannon will be touring several Austenite blogs to promote her new self-published effort.
