The Grail: The Saving of Elizabeth Darcy Giveaways for February-March 2022

After devoting many years working on The Bennet Wardrobe series, Don Jacobson's imaginative and complex Pride and Prejudice time travelling tales has come to an end. From The Keeper: Mary Bennet's Extraordinary Journey to The Pilgrim: Lydia Bennet and a Soldier's Portion, the author has always taken the self-publishing route. Then Meryton Press came calling to purchase the publishing rights to his full-length novels. All seven books are re-edited and re-released once every month since last May under their banner but keeping the original beautiful covers. The series has completed its arc with the launch of the final story titled The Grail: The Saving of Elizabeth Darcy on Valentine's Day.

Just like his previous releases, Don is currently on tour to some of the popular blogs in the Austenesque community. Be sure to drop by to get your fill of entertaining guest posts, charming excerpts and a character interview. His publisher is also generously sponsoring a total of eight e-books of The Grail: The Saving of Elizabeth Darcy (two for the cover reveal post and six for the actual blog tour). The giveaway for the six digital copies are still open until Monday, 14 March 2022 so visit the links below and fill up the Rafflecopter form to be in the running.

Guest Post Thanks, Lúthien84, for having me as your guest today, on the blog tour for my newest book, The Darcy Legacy . I have often wondered how Elizabeth and Mr Darcy's courtship would have evolved, were it not for that ill-judged and so ungentlemanlike ' She is tolerable, I suppose... ' This is an angle I explored in The Darcy Legacy . What if their acquaintance did not start on the wrong foot? What if Mr Darcy did not hurt Elizabeth's feelings and her pride at the Meryton assembly — and if he did blunder, it was in a way that she co...

As mentioned in the previous post , The Secret of Pembrooke Park blog tour stops by on My Love for Jane Austen today. Then check out the details of the giveaway at the bottom of the post which include the author's books and two Jane Austen-related items. Excerpt Abigail and her father rode with the somber solicitor in a well-sprung post chaise hired for the occasion. They travelled for most of the day, on turnpikes and through toll gates, stopping to change horses and postilion riders at regular intervals, or to take a hurried meal at a coaching inn. Finally, they reached western Berkshire, its rolling hills and woodlands giving way to farms and chalk downs near its border with Wiltshire. They passed through the village of Caldwell, with a fine church, cloth mill and the Black Swan, which Mr. Arbeau pointed out as the nearest inn where they might sleep until they deemed the manor house...

Happy weekend, friends! How has your week been? I hope you will have enough rest and relaxation before you begin the next week. It is with sheer delight that My Love for Jane Austen welcomes fairly newcomer Mirta Ines Trupp to join us today. You may have heard that her recent release titled The Meyersons of Meryton is a different spin on Pride and Prejudice with a Jewish twist. I'll let her tell you more about the book and share some fascinating insights regarding herself. There is also an excerpt and a fabulous giveaway of five e-books to go along with it. Guest Post Thank you, Lúthien84, for your warm welcome. I am delighted to spend some time with you and my fellow Janeites. Unlike our beloved Miss Jane, I was not born in a scenic village in rural England. My family were neither descendant of landed gentry, nor were they Anglican. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and am the granddaughter of Russian Jews who escaped the pogroms, poverty and famine prior to the onse...

Today Amy D'Orazio is delighted to share with loyal readers an exciting vignette from her most recent release. You would surely root for Darcy to win his lady's hand after reading this. Take it away, Amy! This small bit is from the beginning of a Lady's Reputation , just after Darcy has learned the shocking news that Elizabeth Bennet will not marry him and in fact, does not like him very well. However, adding to his sorrow in losing her, he is also guilty for how his gossip has endangered her reputation. He is, in this scene, in London, trying to figure out how he can right the wrongs he has inadvertently made. Vignette Darcy's tailor had done an excellent job of things, fashioning a suit that Darcy thought look...

Death Takes a Holiday at Pemberley Blog Tour: Interview + Giveaway

Welcome to the penultimate stop of Death Takes a Holiday at Pemberley blog tour. Would you like to know more of the author of this newly published Pride and Prejudice romantic fantasy? Then you have come to the right place as Kelly Miller has graciously agreed to answer some burning questions that I have about herself. Don't forget to participate in the giveaway below as you can win an e-book of her novel. Author Interview How and when did your interest in Jane Austen take root? As strange as it may seem, I was a fan of the actor Colin Firth since I first saw the 1995 BBC mini-series of Pride & Prejudice on television, and enjoyed the story enough to wish to read the book, but I did not become a true Jane Austen fan until maybe three or four years ago. Romance was never a favourite genre of mine for reading or movies; I preferred other genres, like suspense, horror and mystery. Somehow, several years ago, I wandered into the website A Happy Assembly , and after readi...
