NorthFanger Giveaway for November-December 2020

As you can see from the publishing market, most Austenesque authors prefer to write exclusively Pride and Prejudice stories because it sells really well. But some do choose to compose something unique like a crossover integrating multiple characters from Jane Austen novels. One such example is Jayne Bamber whose mash-up novels include Happier In Her Friends Than Relations and Unexpected Friends & Relations in Friends & Relations series, and Outmatched. Her latest published work titled NorthFanger takes the Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice and Northanger Abbey's Catherine Morland to create an excitable premise with vampiric elements.

Rating: ★★★★★/★★★★★ After enduring a not very likeable Austenesque fiction in Karen V. Wasylowski's Darcy and Fitzwilliam which was reviewed several months ago, I was a little wary of reading any Austen-themed novels which caught my fancy because of its beautifully designed covers. After my colleague recommend me to try Maria Hamilton's debut novel, I made up my mind to read it next.
