Prominent Austenesque and Regency romance author Regina Jeffers has published another Austen-themed novel about a week ago just in time for Valentine.
In Want of a Wife is a
Pride and Prejudice sequel that occur after Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet are married. Instead of a joyous beginning to their new life, obstacles come in the way when Mrs Darcy suffers memory loss after getting hit by a carriage a few days after the happy event. The worse is yet to come when in an unconscious state Elizabeth calls out for Wickham leaving him feeling betrayed. In Darcy's mind, he thinks that his wife do not love him but decided to go through with it for the sake of her family. Will she regain memories of her past and so forge a future together? Will Darcy learn to trust her again?
