Recognizing Love Giveaways for September 2018

Lizzy Brandon may be a brand new author to you but her debut Austenesque novel, Folly and Forgiveness was published about a year ago. She is following it up with the recent release of Recognizing Love which is also a Pride and Prejudice variation. In this tale, Elizabeth Bennet decides to accept Mr Darcy's second proposal out of gratitude for saving her family's honour due to Lydia's indiscretion even though she has yet to fall in love with him. What would happen if he learns the truth? Can he overlook this fact and hope that his love will be enough to sustain them?

A blog tour is currently underway to coincide with the launch of the novel. Rating: ★★★★★/★★★★★ After enduring a not very likeable Austenesque fiction in Karen V. Wasylowski's Darcy and Fitzwilliam which was reviewed several months ago, I was a little wary of reading any Austen-themed novels which caught my fancy because of its beautifully designed covers. After my colleague recommend me to try Maria Hamilton's debut novel, I made up my mind to read it next. It proved to be a wise choice for I spend many hours perusing this delightful Pride and Prejudice what-if story.
