Mr. Darcy's Brides Giveaways for August 2017

Regina Jeffers has officially published Mr. Darcy's Brides yesterday. A rather prominent figure in the Austenesque circles, she is known as the author of numerous Jane Austen-related fictional works based on Pride and Prejudice (Darcy's Passion, Darcy's Temptation, Vampire Darcy's Desire, The Phantom of Pemberley, Christmas at Pemberley, The Disappearance of Georgiana Darcy, Honor and Hope, The Mysterious Death of Mr. Darcy, The Prosecution of Mr. Darcy's Cousin, Elizabeth Bennet's Deception, Mr. Darcy's Fault, Elizabeth Bennet's Excellent Adventures, The Pemberley Ball, The Road to Understanding, Mr. Darcy's Present, Mr. Darcy's Bargain and A Dance with Mr. Darcy) and Persuasion Captain Frederick Wentworth's Persuasion). In addition the retired teacher has also penned several Regency romances (The Realm series, The First Wives' Club and Angel Comes to the Devil's Keep) and a contemporary novel (Second Chances: The Courtship Wars).

Like her fellow Austen Authors group, she has organised a three-week blog tour to celebrate her latest release. Mr. Darcy and the Secret of Becoming a Gentleman: Book Review

Rating: ★★★★★/★★★★★ After enduring a not very likeable Austenesque fiction in Karen V. Wasylowski's Darcy and Fitzwilliam which was reviewed several months ago, I was a little wary of reading any Austen-themed novels which caught my fancy because of its beautifully designed covers. After my colleague recommend me to try Maria Hamilton's debut novel, I made up my mind to read it next. It proved to be a wise choice for I spend many hours perusing this delightful Pride and Prejudice what-if story. Mr. Darcy and the Secret of Becoming a Gentleman begins after Fitzwilliam Darcy's disastrous marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet in Hunsford Parsonage, Kent.
