Now that we are back on track, the Austenesque book scout would like to alert her readers about this week's Austenite competition that they may wish to participate in.
Jane Odiwe is hosting a fabulous giveaway on her blog to celebrate the imminent publication of her new Austenesque novel, Jane Austen Lives Again. There are excerpts to read and several amazing prizes that are all open to international readers.
On the first day, four pieces of costume jewellery are offered which are two brooches and two Venetian style necklaces so leave comment on her post stating which piece you would like to win by next Tuesday, 10 November 2015.
The second day will see a winner receiving a package consisting of a vintage illustrated copy of Emma, a Georgian notebook, a silk Pride and Prejudice bookmark, a Steventon Rectory in summer porcelain decoration and two winter cards with Jane Odiwe's illustrations of Jane and Cassandra Austen in snow and Steventon Rectory in winter. Just list your favourite top three Jane Austen books in the comment section on the post to be counted. It ends next Wednesday, 11 November 2015.
A vintage illustrated copy of Northanger Abbey and Persuasion, a Regency styled antique notebook and a Persuasion porcelain decoration will be awarded to a lucky reader in the third contest. You need to comment about your top three characters in any Jane Austen novels to be included in the drawing that will occur next Thursday, 12 November 2015.
In the final competition which closes next Friday, 13 November 2015, a bundle made up of a paperback copy of Jane Austen Lives Again, a Jane Austen Lives Again mug and a mirror compact of Jane Austen in winter to go along with two paperback editions of Jane Austen Lives Again are up for grabs. A comment indicating your favourite Jane Austen screen adaptation is all that is required as an entry.

You may wish to read it and the excerpt because two e-books of Colonel Fitzwilliam and the Countess of Sainte Toulours are to be given away.
