Pride & Proposals Giveaways for May-August 2015

Among the plethora of new Pride and Prejudice releases this month is the publication of Victoria Kincaid's new variation story. From last year's debut of The Secrets of Elizabeth and Darcy, where Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet secretly marry in Paris due to difficult circumstances, this time it is Colonel Fitzwilliam who proposes to Elizabeth in Pride & Proposals. Will Elizabeth go through with her marriage to Darcy's cousin and best friend and how will he fare?

You'll have to find in her novel or you can follow Victoria as she embarks on a short virtual book tour around the blogosphere. There are review, excerpt and guest post to read plus opportunities to win Pride & Proposals for free.

Mr. Darcy and the Secret of Becoming a Gentleman: Book Review

Rating: ★★★★★/★★★★★ After enduring a not very likeable Austenesque fiction in Karen V. Wasylowski's Darcy and Fitzwilliam which was reviewed several months ago, I was a little wary of reading any Austen-themed novels which caught my fancy because of its beautifully designed covers. After my colleague recommend me to try Maria Hamilton's debut novel, I made up my mind to read it next. It proved to be a wise choice for I spend many hours perusing this delightful Pride and Prejudice what-if story. Mr. Darcy and the Secret of Becoming a Gentleman begins after Fitzwilliam Darcy's disastrous marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet in Hunsford Parsonage, Kent.
