Sharon Lathan, the author of The Darcy Saga, a series of Pride & Prejudice sequels, has posted a Jane Austen quiz at her blog. There is a prize involve and if you can answer all questions correctly, you are entered into a random drawing to win an ARC of Miss Darcy Falls in Love (sixth book in the series) whose officially released will be this coming November. So take the quiz here by midnight of this Friday, 16 September 2011. Additional points will be given to participants who blog, tweet, Facebook or share the link anywhere else but do let her know by copying the link at the comment section.
Shannon Hale's blog has revealed the final cover of her upcoming Austenesque fiction, Midnight in Austenland. She has also offered to give away an ARC for Midnight in Austenland to a random person who leave a comment here. You can mention in your comment if there was a real Austenland, would you go and your reason. This short contest ends this Wednesday, 14 September 2011 at 10 pm.
David Liss is on a blog tour to promote his latest release titled The Twelfth Enchantment. He is stopping by at Austenprose for a guest post for this week. At the end, leave a comment here mentioning your reason for David selecting Mary Crawford from Jane Austen's Mansfield Park in his new novel or why she might make a good magician for an opportunity to get win one of three copies of The Twelfth Enchantment offered there. You need to do two things to be in the running to win her short story anthology. First, read through the stories page for a synopsis of each of the short story contributed by 22 authors. Then comment here mentioning which three short stories you are looking forward to. Deadline is on next Wednesday, 21 September 2011 at midnight PT.
