Darcy's Voyage Giveaways for September-October 2010

The Austenesque scout is delighted to inform readers about numerous giveaways from the blogosphere world for this month. The prize for all giveaways mentioned below is the recently released novel entitled Darcy's Voyage. However giveaways are only open to US and Canada residents (which I think is not fair considering readers of Jane Austen fan-fiction are everywhere around the world) donated by the publisher, Sourcebooks.

The Austenesque scout is pleased to inform her readers about three giveaways for this week. Meredith, blogger mistress of Austenesque Reviews is hosting a book giveaway for two new copies of The Jane Austen Handbook: Proper Life Skills from Regency England donated by the publisher, Quirk Books. Rating: ★★★★★/★★★★★ After enduring a not very likeable Austenesque fiction in Karen V. Wasylowski's Darcy and Fitzwilliam which was reviewed several months ago, I was a little wary of reading any Austen-themed novels which caught my fancy because of its beautifully designed covers. After my colleague recommend me to try Maria Hamilton's debut novel, I made up my mind to read it next. It proved to be a wise choice for I spend many hours perusing this delightful Pride and Prejudice what-if story.
