Over at My Jane Austen Book Club, Maria Grazia was graciously granted the opportunity to interview Ms Lynn Shepherd, author of Jane Austen mystery, Murder at Mansfield Park. Read the interview here to learn what she has to say in Talking Jane Austen with Lynn Shepherd Part I.
The contest rule is simple. It is open worldwide and in order to win a signed copy of the US debut novel (picture on the left), Murder at Mansfield Park, just leave your comment here.
You can also leave your comment in the second part of the interview which will be posted next Thursday, 19 August to double your chances of winning this lovely book. Winners will be revealed on 26 August 2010. Remember to include a valid email address in the comment section so that Maria could contact the lucky winner.
Update: Part 2 of Talking Jane Austen with Lynn Shepherd is now posted at Maria's blog. Click here to read Ms Shepherd's interesting answers to Maria's questions. Don't forget to comment as well in order to be entered twice for this giveaway.
Meanwhile, Ms Syrie James, author of two best-selling fictional biographies which are The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen and The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Brontë was recently interviewed regarding her latest novel, Dracula, My Love. The lovely blogger Meredith Esparza has meticulously posted the questions and answers on her blog. You can read it here and view the trailer for Dracula, My Love.
In the same post, Meredith also inform us that there is a giveaway today, Friday, 13 August 2010 at 1.00 pm PT/4.00 pm ET (US eastern time). Book Tours is hosting a Vampire Lit Twitter chat (#TLCbookchat) to talk on her latest novel. Ms James will also be participating to answer any questions that you would like to ask. Copies of Dracula, My Love will be given before, during and after the chat which I presume is for US readers. Do check it out if you are interested. A very big thank you to Meredith for the heads up.
With so many exciting prizes, I hope you will not let this opportunity slipped by.

My idea of good company, is the company of clever, well-informed people, who have a great deal of conversation; that is what I call good company.
Would you like to have a share of the conversation? Or found any mistakes that need correcting? It would be very much appreciated if you leave a comment. Thank you for taking the time to visit My Love for Jane Austen.
