As a fan of the multi-award winning television series, I selected this book as my next read and was not disappointed. It is a pretty straight forward story filled with delectable secrets, juicy gossips and scandals which reminds me of Downton Abbey . The plot revolves around the lives of the Darlington family and their servants who tend to their every needs. There is Lady Margaret or more affectionately known as Maggie, the eighteen-year-old eldest daughter of Lord Arthur Darlington and Lady Beatrice Darlington. After reading the wonderful love story between Lady Honoria and Marcus Holroyd, the Earl of Chatteris in Just Like Heaven last year, I wonder who Julia has chosen to focus this time. It is with great pleasure that Lady Honoria's brother and Marcus's best friend made one half of the loving couple in the story. As was alluded in the earlier novel, Daniel Smythe-Smith, the Earl of Winstead (also Viscount Streathermore and Baron Touchton of Stoke) was involved in a duel with Lord Hugh Prentice, the second son of the Marquess of Ramsgate three years ago.
